Elsie’s Cottage

Welcome to Elsie's Cottage, an enchanting hinterland retreat named after the youngest granddaughter of Joseph and Alice Dixon, pioneers of the Sunshine Coast and its hinterland in the 1800s. Following World War II, Elsie and her husband Clive made this charming cottage their home, undertaking its first renovations, and became integral members of the local community. The cottage remained in the family for three generations.
